Puppy Preschool |
Get started on the right paw with your new puppy with this fun and informative class! Learn how to effectively communicate with your puppy and begin building a life-long relationship. Classes include socialization with people and dogs, problem prevention, introduction to obedience, and behavior solutions. Plus, our puppy class pays for itself because we also teach you how to clip nails!
For puppies 8 weeks-6 months old.
**Note: puppies need to be socialized to people and dogs from the second you get them from the breeder/rescue. The window of opportunity closes around 4 months of age, so don't wait for class to start socializing your pup. |

Basic Obedience |
Learn how to effectively communicate with your dog what is expected of him through obedience training. We use reward-based motivational training to help you bring out the best in your best friend. Class includes practical exercises such as come when called, walk on a loose leash, sit-stay, down-stay, & place (boundary-stay). We also tackle one behavior problem per week, such as jumping, chewing, and barking.

Tricks 101 (Clicker Training) |
Come have fun with your dog and watch his brain work! Teach your dog to sit, shake, wave, play dead, bow, say grace and many others. You will learn how to train using Clicker Theory (with a clicker and treats). So, by the time the class is over, you will have the know-how to teach your dog anything! Dogs and owners alike love this class. |

Seek & Find |
Seek & Find is a new and exciting class, perfect for active families and active dogs. You will teach your dogs how to play Hide-and-go-seek! The dogs will learn to find a human in an outdoor area, and then run back and get their owner to show them--much like search and rescue. You and your dog will love learning the game, and will be able to play it at anywhere! Prerequisite: no dog, people, or kid aggression. Must know how to come when called. |

Scent Detection 101 |
Does your dog love to sniff and hunt for things? If so, this class is for you. You and your dog will learn the basics of scent detection. You'll get to see him do what he can naturally excel at. By the end, you will be able to play the "search game" at home with the scent of your choice--giving your dog something to entice his brain on those long, boring rainy or snowy days (besides tearing up the yard and barking at the neighbors :) Past students have had their dogs finding their cell phones, car keys, remote controls, deer antlers and even morrell mushrooms! |

Intermediate Obedience:
Therapy Dog Prep |
After creating a solid foundation in Basic Obedience, move on to more complex exercises including off-leash obedience and real-life scenarios. These classes are good for all dog owners, and essential for people who want to turn their dog into a therapy dog or competition dog. Prerequisite: Basic Obedience or equivalent.

Tricks II (Clicker Training) |
Come have fun with your dog! Dogs and owners alike have a great time learning tricks. In this advanced trick class, we will tackle one trick every week. Each trick will be one step of a larger complex trick that will be accomplished by the end of the 6 weeks. Complex tricks may include: "get a beer from the fridge", "do a dance routine" or "open and close the door and turn off the light" |
